Nicola Donovan has created these textile pieces from a variety of materials for example, latex paint, antique and modern lace, pins, bird skulls, gas mask parts and many more.
When looking at these pieces I never thought that they would have been created by using such strange materials. Nicola is almost using a juxtaposition by using unusual materials into something pretty. This would be intresting if I could combine this element in my primary research stages of a project to see how this would develop into the end designs.
