Sam Francis is an American Abstract Expressionist. These explosions of colour are vibrant and energetic, they remind me of being a child and going wild with paint- not bothered what the ending outcome would be.They portray an atmosphere and maybe it's an emotion he was trying to express. The first image and the last image are my favourites.
