At first glance these images might look crude and unappealing...Although these are beautiful in there own right, the colors that are used are very soft, the top image is energetic in the movement of the stokes of the paint. It's almost like how it is an angel and devil child...split personalities. I think I want to explore this further, for my work to take on two different slants, it would be a juxtaposition. Here on the second image I like how Jenny Saville has used text and words in her pieces, they are really powerful.
