The V&A had an extensive range of wrought iron on display, there is something about the intricate detail and precision that has gone into each of these that excite me, a lot of these were from the C17th, the craft work that has gone into each of these are amazing and the detail that is involved must have taken a long time to create. Looking at these has helped me realise that I could take inspiration from any of these to create motifs that would make my design work interesting.
