In this last project I again have full control, and will write my own brief. I have chosen to produce a collection for Interior's, wall-coverings and furnishing fabrics. My theme is that of Japanese floral and geometrics combined. The stylistic approach that emerges from the historical stunning prints and the detailing from a Kimono. My aim is to have a soft sophisticated, subtle and contemporary style. I feel like this project will be a challenge, with a lot more experimentation in the primary research. The range will be for a commercial setting, that I can hopefully sell and this will help get employment for the future.
