Imogen Luddy is a textile designer, she looks at traditional materials and techniques and tries to adapt these in other materials and using other techniques to create the pieces.
I like the concept behind the work as well as her starting point's are what I look into in design, I have always been interested in lace and use the inspiration in my work.
These are innovative, they would be used for more one off pieces, commission pieces, rather than commercial mainstream interior products. However they are lovely and there is a market for this work.
