When first looking at this I thought 'what a good design?' Although when thinking about this it made me think shoes are dirty...so why put them onto a clean wall. Also you would not be able to put high healed shoes in the storage or any bulky trainers, so this storage solution is very limited and not that practical. This is something strange although I do not think it works that well.
